A free jukebox app for your party.
Everyone picks songs from their phone, Dekk plays them in turn and blends them together. When nobody picks, it keeps going with similar songs. The music never stops. Free, in your browser.
How does a jukebox app work with Dekk?
Open Dekk on the screen and start a party
Open Dekk on the laptop or TV that plays the music and name your party, like Friday at Lou's. Dekk shows a QR code and a link to share.
Guests scan and pick songs
Guests scan the code with their phone camera. No app to install. They search a song or tap a suggestion, and it lands in the queue.
Dekk plays them in turn, blends them, and fills the gaps
Songs play in the order they were picked, with a smooth fade from one to the next. If the queue runs dry, Dekk adds songs similar to the one playing. No silence between songs.
A jukebox for the nights when everyone has a song to add.
Small bars and pub nights
Put the QR code next to the screen and let your regulars pick the music.
House parties
Nobody fights over the speaker.
Nights with friends
Everyone picks from their own phone.
Get-togethers
Friends add their songs, Dekk keeps them flowing.
Questions people ask
Is there a free jukebox app for a party?
Yes. Dekk is a free jukebox for parties. It runs in your browser, with no download and no account. Guests pick songs from their phone, and Dekk plays them one after the other.
Does it work in a bar or a pub?
Dekk is made for parties and small venues where friends or regulars choose the music, with the screen or laptop that plays it connected to the speakers. It is not a professional pay-per-song jukebox: guests don't pay per song, and Dekk doesn't provide any broadcast licence. The music comes from YouTube.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera, the page opens in the browser, they type their first name and they can pick songs.
Can I control the queue?
Yes. As the host, you can remove songs from the queue and reorder them. Guests add songs, you keep the last word.
What plays when nobody picks a song?
The music keeps going. When the queue is empty, Dekk plays songs similar to the one that just played, skips the ones already played, and blends them in.
Can I use it on my phone?
Your phone gets a simplified player. For the full experience, run Dekk on a laptop or a computer connected to the speakers, and let guests use their own phones.
